Mawlid-un-Nabi & Giyārvīh Sharīf Celebration
A Spiritual Evening of Reflection and Devotion

The Nizamia Foundation is honoured to invite you to a special gathering for the celebration of Mawlid-un-Nabi (the birth of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and Giyārvīh Sharīf (the 11th day of Rabi’ al-Awwal). We warmly welcome all brothers and sisters to join us for this auspicious event, which will take place on Sunday, 17th November 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Madrassah Jamia Nizamia, located at 24 Goodale Street, DE23 8QE, in the heart of Derby.


Under the Guidance of Pir Zulkifal Hussain Sabir Chishti

The event will be held under the esteemed guidance of Pir Zulkifal Hussain Sabir Chishti, the Founder and Director of both The Nizamia Foundation and Madrassah Jamia Nizamia in Derby. Pir Zulkifal Hussain Sabir Chishti is widely respected for his deep knowledge, piety, and dedication to the spiritual well-being of the community.


Special Guests:

We are honoured to welcome two distinguished speakers for this event:

  • Guest English Speaker: Imam Qari Zia-Ul Mujtaba Pirzada – A renowned scholar and spiritual leader, Imam Qari Zia-Ul Mujtaba Pirzada will deliver an insightful address in English on the significance of Mawlid-un-Nabi and the deeper meanings behind Giyārvīh Sharīf. His words will undoubtedly inspire reflection and draw us closer to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.
  • Guest Urdu Speaker: Maulana Muhammad Abdullah Sultani Sahib – A respected scholar based in Birmingham, Maulana Abdullah Sultani Sahib will provide an Urdu-language address, offering a heartfelt discussion on Giyarvih Sharif.

Both of our guest speakers are well-known for their eloquence and deep understanding of Islamic teachings, and their presence will undoubtedly elevate this special gathering.


Event Highlights:

Our Mawlid-un-Nabi & Giyārvīh Sharīf Celebration promises to be a spiritually enriching event filled with a variety of activities that will help us remember and honour the Prophet ﷺ:

  • Na’ats – Beautiful poetic tributes in praise of the Prophet ﷺ, which will bring the gathering to life with their melodic rhythms and heartfelt sentiments.
  • Tilāwat – The recitation of the Holy Quran, filling the atmosphere with its sacred words and creating a spiritually uplifting environment.
  • Nasheeds – Soulful songs of praise, celebrating the life and teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. These heartwarming Nasheeds will inspire attendees and remind us of the love we hold for our beloved Prophet.
  • Speeches – Thought-provoking and enlightening speeches from our distinguished speakers that will help us understand the significance of these blessed occasions in greater depth.
  • Zikr – The remembrance of Allah, a time for reflection, quiet contemplation, and spiritual connection. Zikr helps to purify the heart and brings inner peace.

Food Will Be Served:

As part of our tradition of hospitality and generosity, food will be served during the event.
