The study of the Qur’an, specifically focusing on Tajweed rules and laws, encompasses a comprehensive array of disciplines and areas of study related to the interpretation, oral and written history, and recitation of the Qur’an. Among these disciplines, Qur’anic exegesis (tafsīr) stands out as one of the most renowned. This multifaceted field delves into the intricate details of the Qur’an’s meaning, providing a nuanced understanding of its verses, historical context, and linguistic nuances.

Aqidah - Islamic Theology

Aqidah is the scholarly examination of the beliefs, attributes, rational proofs, and textual proofs concerning Almighty Allah. The term Aqidah denotes those principles that are embraced with absolute certainty and conviction in one’s heart and soul, devoid of any doubt or uncertainty.

Fiqh-Ul-Islam

Often simply referred to as “fiqh,” is the Islamic jurisprudence that encompasses the understanding and interpretation of Islamic law derived from the Quran and the Hadith (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). Fiqh addresses various aspects of a Muslim’s life, providing guidelines on matters such as worship, morality, social issues, and legal principles.

Seerah: The life & biography of Prophet Muhammad SAW

Seerah refers to the biographical account of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It encompasses not only the chronological events of his life but also his teachings, actions, and the circumstances surrounding the early years of Islam. Seerah is not only a historical account but also a source of inspiration for Muslims, providing guidance on how to emulate the Prophet’s conduct in various aspects of life.

Islamic History

Islamic history refers to the historical events, developments, and achievements associated with the Islamic world and its civilization. Spanning over fourteen centuries, Islamic history encompasses a wide range of geographic regions, cultures, and periods. It is marked by significant events that have shaped the religious, political, social, and intellectual landscape of the Muslim community.

Manners & Morals

In Islam, manners and morals are integral components of ethical conduct and righteous behaviour, emphasizing the importance of good character and virtuous actions in every aspect of life. These principles are derived from the teachings found in the Quran – the holy book of Islam, and the Hadith – the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Hadith

A hadith, in Islam, refers to a saying, action, or approval of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Hadiths, along with the Quran, form the basis of Islamic teachings and provide guidance on various aspects of life. The compilation and preservation of hadiths were essential in understanding the application of Quranic principles in different situations.

Memorisation of The Holy Qur’aan

The memorization of the Qur’an, known as “Hifz” in Arabic, is a highly esteemed and traditional practice in Islam. It involves committing the entire text of the Quran to memory, making the person who accomplishes this feat a “Hafiz” or “Hafiza.”
